Team building for great productivity… |
 |
Great
teamwork makes great things happen. Teams usually
become great teams when they decide to do it
themselves It's a team thing. The team says,
'Okay, we can bloody well make a difference.
We will be the best ... We'll look out for each
other and succeed. And we'll make sure we enjoy
ourselves while we're doing it'. And then the
team starts to move mountains. |
It
means building relationships, learning people skills,
leadership skills, accelerating change, merging
cultures, kicking off new project teams, incorporating
different methods or cultures
Team-building activities aim to enhance a groups
ability to work together,
develop a new appreciation for collaboration,
to effectively communicate, to collectively solve
problems, to foster a sense of empathy and respect for
other team members, to provide honest and useful
feedback, to resolve conflict, and to build a team
spirit that will remain intact after returning home.
And its so much fun.
The
hands on nature of our team building activities allow
participants to become immersed in the challenge and
not even realize that they are engaged in a learning
process. The relationships formed, are easily
transferred back to the real world. And it is critical
to take participants out of their normal settings and
challenge them with activities that push them outside
of their comfort zone.
How does the Outdoors help the harried executive?
Ice
breakers, Conference starters, Problem solving
exercises, Initiative games, Outdoor adventures
including Mountaineering, High and Low Ropes Courses,
Search and Rescue Scenarios are used as effective Team
Building Tools. All activities are conducted with
facilitators and follow policies that have minimum
impact on the environment.
For
long-term tangible change in the way people do things,
training programmes need to engage intellect and
emotion. We use the outdoors, as a vehicle for
learning, where the learning is real, with real
successes and only genuine input will achieve lasting
results.
We
are all capable of much more than we realize, if we
only knew how to fulfill our potential. Understanding
and true learning come from the real world - the great
advantage of the outdoors is that it forces you to use
your communicative and reasoning skills and to
confront problems head-on. We provide experiential
training, specializing in designing outdoor training
programmes for:
1.
Team Building
2. Management and Leadership Development
3. Motivation
4. Empowering the Individual
The Programmes include:
1. Empowerment
2. Confidence
3. Extending Horizons (your comfort zone)
4. Assertiveness
5. Interpersonal Skills
6. Managing Stress
Multi Activity Programmes:
If what you are looking for is Action…. we at Hills &
Holidays, have loads of it to offer! Our all-inclusive
multi-activity breaks involve a host of action
pursuits. You have complete freedom to choose the
activities you want to do each day. Usually, groups
try a maximum of 2-3 activities per day.
Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Camping, Para Gliding,
Expeditions, White Water Rafting, River Rafting,
Please note that our team-building courses are not
endurance tests! Any reasonably fit person should be
able to complete one of our 'Off the Peg' courses
comfortably, and we can adapt a course to suit older
or less fit teams, or teams with a wide range of
ability and fitness. Your group will not be asked to
run miles across country or swim frozen lakes, but
must come prepared to be outdoors all day in varying
weather conditions .
You
could choose to include one or a combination of a few
activities mentioned above as part of your Adventure
Learning, Team Building, Leadership Programmes,
Professional Development or Personal Development
programmes.
You
also have the choice to arrange for the trainer
yourself while we take care of the Adventure Learning
and corresponding activities, and the experts for the
same along with the venue, boarding and lodging, food
and other logistics.
So we carefully select the settings of our camps in
the scenic countryside’s, surrounded by beautiful
mountainsides, lakes, rivers or lush green jungles,
where teams do
river rafting, trekking, rock climbing, treasure hunt,
spider web, Burma bridge, rappelling, jungle walk.
Visits to waterfall, fishing, kayaking, kite flying or
even daydreaming.
